Orion’s Sirius series comprises classic Plössl eyepieces with a high-quality finish.
Plössl eyepieces are particularly inexpensive and are therefore already included in the accessories of many entry-level telescopes. With the numerous models in the Sirius series, you can add additional focal lengths to your eyepiece collection.
Since Plössl eyepieces contain less glass than other types, they are very well suited to observing bright objects where high contrast is important. These are the Moon, the planets, and also the Sun with a solar filter or with a solar telescope.
